We went here for our 1st year anniversary and service was great, staff were super friendly and they even gave us a little gift for anniversary. Portion is on the smaller side but flavour was awesome! My favourite one is the mushroom pasta!

came into this restaurant with modest expectations, given that many hotel-affiliated spots often lean towards basic fare. However, this place was a revelation, far exceeding anything I’d anticipated. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, setting the tone for what would be an extraordinary dining experience. To start, I ordered the Gravlax, while my friend chose the Sebaste. Each dish was bursting with flavors that were thoughtfully and expertly balanced. The beef was incredibly tender, practically melting in my mouth, and the mousse had a perfect harmony of mustard and mushroom, complemented beautifully by onions and crispy croutons for added texture. Every bite was a delight. For the main course, I had the Magret, accompanied by caramelized bok choy, shiitake mushrooms, and a unique strawberry gastrique. The flavors were exceptional—I genuinely didn’t want the experience to end. It was that good. We finished with a deconstructed chocolate cake and a tiramisu in cannoli form. I’ve never tasted a tiramisu that good! We were skeptical at first, but after the main dishes, we couldn’t wait to be surprised once again. Though we were full, we dove into the desserts eagerly. The chocolate cake was beautiful and thoughtfully crafted—the cake itself was moist, the chocolate mousse was perfectly balanced (not overly sweet), and the strawberries added a fresh sweetness to the dish. For an extra touch of sweetness and texture, there were small meringue pieces to finish. I’m a sucker for texture, so the crunch elements were a perfect addition. The service was another highlight. Each dish was presented with detailed explanations, adding a thoughtful touch that made the meal feel truly special. It’s something I’ve only experienced at high-end restaurants like Hell’s Kitchen in Vegas. This restaurant is a true gem in Mont-Saint-Hilaire. They have mastered the art of flavor profiles and deserve all the praise and recognition they can get. I’d gladly drive an hour to return. Thank you to the entire team for a memorable culinary experience!

The regular breakfast menu was excellent in taste, quality, quantity and price. Much much better than the usual pricey hotel breakfasts. Service was attentive. BTW I highly recommend the Sunday brunch with a larger menu. A great place for special days.

Le Coureur des Bois in Beloeil is an absolute gem! After three visits, I can confidently say that each experience was even better than the last. For our most recent visit, we booked the Chef’s Table, a truly exceptional, highly customized experience that took dining to another level. The personalized attention, carefully curated dishes, and exclusive interaction with the chef made the evening unforgettable. From the moment you step in, the warm and refined ambiance sets the tone for an extraordinary meal. The service is impeccable—attentive without being intrusive, with thoughtful recommendations that enhance the experience. The cuisine is a true sensory journey. Every dish is beautifully crafted, showcasing local ingredients elevated with creativity and precision. The wine pairings are flawless, and the restaurant’s cellar is simply extraordinary—an impressive selection that delights both casual wine lovers and seasoned connoisseurs.

This is by far one of the best places we've eaten. Not only that, our servers were knowledgable, extremely friendly, professional and polite. We were there Tuesday, July 16th around 8pm. They asked us if we had food allergies as well. Huge thanks to the staff for making our stay pleasant. We will be back!

This place was recommended to me by my boss, and honestly it doesn’t disappoint. I was there for Sunday lunch, but it seems to be a brunch menu. I know for a fact, people come here for their vast selection of wine, but since I had to drive right after, I didn’t get into that. Regardless the food was well priced and delicious. Service was also really great, the waiters and waitresses were all really friendly. The fact that it’s at a hotel means that you get to park in the parking lot, so no street parking. We didn’t sit at the terrace, but they have a really nice one, although it faces the parking lot. At least you still get the view of the river across the parking.

After the 4th time visiting..I have come to the conclusion this is my favorite restaurant! The food is always so flavourful, the ingredients are fresh, and the menu changes with the seasons. Cocktails are superb. Service is always wonderful!

I usually think restaurants built within a hotel are not that great but Le Coureur des Bois blew that opinion away. I stayed here for the majority of the week and had a chance to eat here for dinner and breakfast. The food was so good. For dinner, highly recommend the bison and based on the servers recommendation. In addition, the sides like bread (homemade) and dessert were great add ons. I thought the breakfast was interesting. It’s very deconstructed, which isn’t my favorite but still great nevertheless.
